IB Summary:  This bill would result in an overall cut of 4.3% for the US Geological Survey (compared to the administration's request of a 15% cut) and an 11.8% cut for EPA's Science and Technology branch (compared to the requested 44% cut), relative to FY17 enacted funds, among other cuts to various federal environmental science research agencies.
