Equal Pay Lobby Day - Women & Families Tuesday

Join us as we lobby our legislators to support equal pay bills!

April 10th is Equal Pay Day. This is how long into the year it takes women (on average) to earn what white men made the previous year.

In Colorado, women make 81 cents compared to white men's dollar. For women of color, this discrepancy is worse, with black women earning 64 cents, Latina women earning 54 cents, and Native women earning 58 cents.

To address equal pay and women's economic justice, we will be talking to legislators about allowing cities to increase their minimum wage, and supporting policy that addresses the wage gap.
