Taking place at The Unitarian Universalist Church of Boulder
From the Colorado ACLU:
"District attorneys are some of the most influential players in the entire criminal justice system. DA’s choose who gets charged for which crimes, hold police accountable for misconduct, and provide access to alternatives to incarceration. Fair-minded DA’s can help bring an end to racially-biased policing, unequal bail practices, and mass incarceration, yet elections for district attorney are often overlooked.
Next Wednesday, May 30, ACLU of Colorado is joining Colorado Criminal Justice Reform Coalition (CCJRC), Boulder Chapter League of Women Voters, Showing Up for Racial Justice Boulder (BSURJ), Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center, and Unitarian Universalist Church of Boulder's Racial Justice Ministry for a Boulder District Attorney Candidate Forum.
